Rovers duo in Actim Team of Week

Blackburn Rovers` midfielders Morten Gamst Pedersen and David Bentley were both rewarded for their performances with a place in the team of the week in the Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League, after emphatically beating Lancashire rivals Bolton at the weekend.

Pedersen (233rd overall) was the second-top scoring midfielder of the week with 32 points while Bentley (11th) trailed him by just a point.

Rovers hotshot Benni McCarthy smashed his way back into the top 100 in the Index, after the South African struck twice from the spot in the 4-1 derby victory to earn himself a season-best 49 points, climbing 44 places to 64th overall
